Synopsis

Based in 1960's Baltimore, Hairspray tells the story of dance-loving teen Tracy Turnblad. Tracy auditions for a spot on ‘The Corny Collins Show’ and wins! She becomes an overnight celebrity, a trendsetter in dance, fun and fashion. Will her new status as a young dance sensation be enough to topple Corny Collin's reigning dance queen?
