Our April 2024 Musical will be the 'World Premier' of a satirical and original operetta based
around the works of Sir Arthur Sullivan. This is a really exciting project and we are delighted to be given the opportunity to be the first Company to perform it, ever!
Here is what Lyricist Matt Juggins has to say about the piece, which he and Charlotte spent so many hours labouring over:
If you're anxious for to shine in the high aesthetic line, then here's a pretty how-de-do: Everything's Gone Topsy-Turvy! is a (loving) satire of all things Gilbert & Sullivan! Mistaken identities, love triangles and many cheerful facts about the square of the hypotenuse abound in this frivolous frippery, this idiosyncratic inanity, this outlandish ode to the privilege and pleasure that we treasure beyond measure.
Make sure you don't miss a truly hilarious* and utterly unique montage of music by Sir Arthur Sullivan – his ghost was a pleasure to work with – strung together with a rollicking plot in the style of W.S. Gilbert; his wasn't. At this show you're bound to find a pudding full of plums, because everything is a source of fun and Everything's Gone Topsy-Turvy! is a joke that's just begun!

First Read through - to be confirmed. It is hoped to organise this before Christmas, subject to cast availability - we know December can be a manic time for everyone!
Rehearsals will not start until after panto finishes.
First rehearsal - Monday 15th January 2024.
Rehearsal nights - Mondays & Wednesday's with some Sundays from March 2024 until 'showtime'.
